Winner of the Kings Award for Enterprise 2024! Our Bosville, Marmalade and Bracken Hide Hotels are hiring a Cluster Head Housekeeper to join their team in Portree, The Isle of Skye. This is a full time permanent contract, and you will be working 45 hours a week, Monday through to Sunday.
As a Cluster Head Housekeeper you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and developing the overall operations of the housekeeping department in accordance with the company’s standards, ensuring all areas of the hotels are thoroughly kept clean and tidy as per all cleanliness and hygiene guidelines. You will pay close attention to detail and manage the housekeeping team efficiently to ensure staff satisfaction and optimum performance.
Prior experience with Stayntouch, Trustyou and RotaCloud systems is preferred, but not required.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Organize employee schedules, ensure that employees receive ongoing training and hold staff meetings to keep employees updated on all procedures and policies.
- Ensure that all the shifts are properly covered, ensuring team member productivity and room cleanliness.
- Ensure bedrooms and public areas are maintained to the highest-level of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Ensure correct levels of stock including chemicals, consumables and linen are kept at a correct level by using a par stocking process.
- Ensure that all procedures and policies concerning COSHH, and the use of chemicals and cleaning products are practiced at all times.
- Encouraging a culture of positive employee relations by having effective and clear communication with all housekeeping team members.
- Work closely with the linen supplier (if applicable) ensuring counts and orders are placed in a timely manner. Ensure sufficient levels of linen are in line with the hotels occupancy, there should be no overstocked or understocked linen items.
- Keep all housekeeping back of house areas tidy and efficiently stocked.
- Follow the hotels guest relations policy, including politely addressing our guests at all times and ensuring 100% guest satisfaction.
