At Perkins&Will’s London studio, we’re currently seeking a talented Senior Project Information Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This role will be to ensure the accuracy, distribution, collection, record, dispatch, and storage of incoming and outgoing digital information via the various projects web based electronic document management system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish a working Common Data Environment (CDE) for all sizeable London office projects during relevant RIBA stages. This typically involves using tools like SharePoint and BIM360 Docs derived from templates.
- Maintain and develop project CDEs to ensure alignment with agreed ISO/Office protocols.
- Provide support, advice, and guidance/training to the project delivery team on the use of appropriate tools.
- Attend project meetings as requested.
- Produce and update Task/Master Information Delivery Plans / Information registers as project information is transmitted.
- Maintain and update relevant information standards in accordance with the project protocols.
- Provide document control quality assurance for information produced by the project team.
- Ensure meta data is accurate and complete when working in project EDMS.
- Manage multiple projects and organise time accordingly.
- Record receipt of incoming information (drawings, reports, specifications etc.).
- Monitor and collect marked-up drawings in a timely manner.
- Issue and record return of comments to original issuer.
- Liaise with project teams in relation to information exchange.
- File digital and hard copies (as received and issued).
- Assist with ISO Audits.
- Assist departments with digital files (on an ad hoc basis).
Proficiencies:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience performing a similar role in the architecture/interior industries.
- Experience and knowledge of the RIBA work stages.
- Strong communication skills when working with internal and external project teams.
- Ability to prioritise and take initiative.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Assertive enough to make sure that information is correctly received, commented upon and returned on time.
Key Software Required:
- Experience of using online EDMS systems such as Acconex, Asite, Viewpoint, ACC, BIM360 Docs.
- Knowledge of Autodesk Construction Cloud services such as Design Collaboration is a must.
- Knowledge of Autodesk Revit is an advantage.
- Solid experience of SharePoint, ACC, BIM360, MS Office suite (specifically Excel).
- Understanding of processes related to information exchange (ISO19650).
