With a global team spanning twenty-seven studios, you will be surrounded by leaders in design, technical excellence and digital innovation who strive to make an impact within the built environment and design exceptional spaces.Currently, our London office is recruiting talented Senior Interior Designers with exceptional and proven experience in corporate interiors and workplace sectors. Successful candidates should have strong professional practice experience and have worked within a similarly scaled organisation. You will need to demonstrate exceptional design and conceptual skills, strong presentation skills, client-facing experience, and the ability to support design excellence through all stages from inception through to completion.Essential requirements for the position include, but aren\’t limited to:Responsibilities Pre-Project Responsibilities: Manage the development of tender proposals; manage the preparation of tender presentation material; lead or assist with the presentation of proposals to clients.Project Responsibilities: Develop design proposals with the Project Lead and team for client presentation, including concept ideas, layouts, finishes, materials and furniture; collect client brief and prepare project briefing documents; prepare design and production information within pre‐agreed programme and cost parameters; specify products and materials, investigate suitability, sustainability and maintenance procedures; attend client presentation meetings and other project meetings; review construction work on site as required; assist to ensure smooth handover of project to client; report project issues to the Project Lead regularly.Qualifications, Skills and Experience: A degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture or Architecture; 10+ years experience in a similar role; working knowledge of Building regulations, British Standards and other statutory legislation; understanding of Perkins&Will\’s work; Revit is essential with an assessment during the interview process; knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite; excellent design and technical knowledge of furniture systems, products, finishes and materials; good interpersonal skills and ability to motivate a team; understanding of clients\’ requirements and client liaison; experience of fast-track projects from inception to completion; client management and exceptional presentation skills; understanding of the financial aspects of running a design project on time and on budget is desirable; willingness to mentor junior staff.It is common for us to have a 2-stage interview process.
