The predicted salary is between 28800 - 42000 £ per year.

This role is part of our 2025 Graduate Recruitment Scheme, so is only available for recent Graduates who have completed a university qualification within the last 12-month period. As part of this scheme, all Graduates will be offered a 12-month Fixed-Term contract to work with us out of our 150 Holborn Studio.

In this role, you will work directly with our talented Corporate Interiors department on an array of commercial and workplace projects that span not just the UK, but across the globe. Our London team is truly multi-disciplinary, and our range of perspectives and skillsets make us a uniquely resilient studio. As part of Perkins&Will, you will receive support, guidance and mentorship from our team who can help develop you as an interior design professional throughout your time with us.

As this is a Graduate role, we are only currently open to reviewing applicants who have 0-1 years' experience within the industry. Overall responsibilities will include (but aren't limited to):

  • Provides assistance throughout the interior design process under routine guidance; contributes to the overall success of the team by adhering to firm and project goals and standards of excellence in interior design, execution, and Living Design.
  • Participates in preparing contract documents, including but not limited to floor plans and details, reflected ceiling plans, mill work design, furniture layouts, finish plans, and schedules.
  • Assists in creating presentation materials and models for client presentations.
  • Learns to manipulate basic design elements such as spatial layout, color, light, texture, and scale.
  • Researches manufacturers and contributes to selection of colors, finishes, materials, furniture, and lighting for interior application, ensuring sustainability goals of the firm are maintained.
  • Contributes to programming and space planning analysis and provides area calculations.
  • Proactively asks questions and expresses curiosity about the world of design and the industry at large.
  • Uses a creative approach to perform tasks and responsibilities on projects in an organised, timely, and consistent way.
  • Provides support to tasks within project teams (may focus on individual detailed tasks) and studio activities.
  • Communicates ideas and thoughts in a way that inspires others.
  • Participates in design reviews, charettes, and pin-ups.
  • Assists with coordination among partners and consultants.

Critical baseline skills, abilities and certifications:

  • Personable, presentable and articulate.
  • Sound understanding of building codes and guidelines as applicable.
  • Sound knowledge in programming and site analysis.
  • Strong time management and organisational skills.
  • Strong understanding of conducting field observations and measurements.
  • Strong understanding of furniture and interior product specifications.

Software skills: Revit [Required]

Education Requirement: A Degree in an Interior Design related field [Required]
