Currently, our London office is recruiting for talented Intermediate Interior Designers who have exceptional and proven experience working within the corporate interiors and workplace sectors. Successful candidates should have strong experience in a professional practice and should have worked within a similar scale organisation. You will need to demonstrate exceptional design and conceptual skills, strong presentation skills, have a track record of working well within a team and assisting in client meetings. The ideal person will be able to support design excellence through all stages of a project, from inception through to completion.
Essential requirements for the positions include, but aren’t limited to:
- Pre-Project Responsibilities: Assisting in the development of tender proposals, assisting with the preparation of tender presentation material, assist with the presentation of proposals to client.
- Project Responsibilities: Develop design proposals in collaboration with the Senior Interior Designers, Project Lead and wider team members for presentation to the client. This will include concept ideas, development of layouts, finishes, materials and furniture. Prepare design and production information with pre-agreed programme. Specify products and materials. Investigate suitability for use, sustainability and maintenance procedures. Attend client presentation meetings and other project meetings as appropriate. Review construction work on site as required. Assist to ensure smooth hand over of project to client. Report project issues to Project Lead and Senior Interior Designers on a regular basis.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience: A degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture or Architecture. Must have experience in a similar role, with ideally 5+ years in the industry. Working knowledge of Building regulations, British Standards and other relevant statutory legislation.
