This role is part of the 2026 London Graduate Recruitment Scheme and is only open to recent graduates who completed an Interiors university degree in 2025 or 2026. Successful graduates will be offered a permanent contract with Perkins&Will.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the interior design process under routine guidance and contribute to the overall success of the team by adhering to firm and project goals and standards of excellence in interior design, execution, and our Living Design framework.
  • Prepare contract documents, including floor plans and details, reflected ceiling plans, millwork design, furniture layouts, finishes plans, and schedules.
  • Create presentation materials and models for client presentations.
  • Implement key design elements such as spatial layout, scale, colour strategies, light and textures.
  • Research products and manufacturers and contribute to the selection of finishes, materials, furniture, and lighting for interior applications, ensuring the sustainability goals of the firm are maintained.
  • Contribute to programming and space‑planning analysis and provide area calculations.
  • Ask questions and express curiosity about the design world and the industry at large.
  • Use a creative approach to perform tasks and responsibilities on projects in an organised, timely, and consistent way.
  • Support tasks within project teams (may focus on individual detailed tasks) and studio activities.
  • Communicate and articulate ideas and design thinking in inspiring ways.
  • Participate in design reviews, charrettes, and pin‑ups.
  • Assist coordination with industry partners and consultants.
Professional & Interpersonal Skills
  • Personable, presentable and clear communicator.
  • Sound understanding of building codes and guidelines as applicable.
  • Strong time‑management and organisational skills.
  • Strong understanding of conducting field observations and measurements.
  • Strong understanding of furniture and interior product specifications.
  • Familiarity with programming and site analysis.
Required Software Skills
  • Basic Revit skills and understanding.
  • Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.).
Desirable Software Skills
  • Rhino.
  • Grasshopper.
  • Enscape/VRay.
Essential Education Requirement
  • University degree in an interior design related field, completed or to be completed in 2025 or 2026.
