Contract Type: 12-month fixed-term (with potential to extend)

Hours: Mon–Thu 8:00–16:30, Fri 8:00–13:00

Day Rate: Approx £167.462 per day

Hourly Rate: £22.63 per hour

Role Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented Customs Administrator to join our Stafford team. This role focuses on managing daily import activities and customs compliance, ensuring shipments arrive on time and in line with UK regulations. You will collaborate closely with internal teams and customs brokers to facilitate smooth operations and maintain accurate import records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and provide accurate clearance instructions to customs brokers
  • Manage and review import documentation for correctness and compliance
  • Ensure customs duties are calculated correctly and timely
  • Maintain accurate records in line with HMRC requirements
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the customs process
  • Build strong working relationships across teams and with external partners

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in customs or import/export operations is essential
