Position Description
As a Cook, you will prepare menu items according to company standards, ensuring guest satisfaction and a quality work environment under the supervision of the Kitchen Manager or Manager on Duty.
Responsibilities:
- Present yourself well-groomed, in proper uniform, practicing good personal hygiene.
- Maintain and clean all kitchen equipment and preparation areas.
- Stock and rotate products on the line.
- Understand cooking stations, menu items, and procedures to ensure quality and safety.
- Cook and prepare menu items per guest requests, following safety and sanitation standards.
- Monitor food temperatures to prevent foodborne illnesses.
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding issues and safety concerns.
Qualifications:
- Basic skills in sanitation, safety, and customer service.
- Clear communication skills.
Physical Requirements & Work Conditions:
- High mobility and flexibility.
- Ability to work irregular hours during peak times.
- Good coordination skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to fit through a 30” opening.
- Frequent reaching, bending, pushing, and pulling.
- Exposure to heat, steam, smoke, cold, and odors.
- Continuous standing and walking.
