Position Description

As a Server, you will provide friendly and efficient service to guests, adhering to company policies, procedures, and standards. Your goal is to maximize guest satisfaction and maintain a positive work environment under the guidance of the General Manager or Manager on Duty.

Responsibilities:

• Report to work well-groomed, in a clean uniform, and practice good personal hygiene.
• Greet guests courteously and respectfully.
• Handle cash, credit card information, gift cards, and all payment-related tasks responsibly.
• Take verbal orders accurately and serve food that meets quality standards.
• Ensure food is at correct temperatures and visually appealing.
• Maintain cleanliness of work stations and perform side work during downtime.
• Follow the service cycle and team responsibilities consistently.
• Know the menu well to suggest items and promote sales.
• Use POS systems properly to write checks and process payments.
• Identify and resolve system or service issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Communicate effectively with managers and co-workers about any issues or needs.

Qualifications:

• Basic skills in sanitation, safety, and customer service (training provided)
• Trustworthy with payment handling and cash register operation
• Clear communication skills

Physical Requirements / Environment / Work Conditions:

• High mobility and flexibility
• Ability to work irregular hours under pressure during peak times
• Good coordination
• Lift and carry trays up to 20 pounds for distances up to 30 feet
• Ability to fit through a 30-inch wide opening
• Frequent reaching, bending, pushing, and pulling
• Exposure to heat, steam, smoke, cold, and odors
• Continuous standing and walking
