What you’ll be doing (in a nutshell): As our Management Accountant, you’ll take ownership of transactional revenue reporting across the Perkbox Group, ensuring our voucher sales, commissions and related balances are accurately reported each month. You’ll be a key partner to our Commercial Partnerships team, helping to keep our Perks platform running smoothly from a financial perspective. This is a hands‑on, high‑impact role where accuracy matters, deadlines count and there’s real opportunity to improve how we work using technology and AI.
Day‑to‑day you can expect to:
- Own monthly reporting of voucher sales and usage, posting journals and clearly explaining any variances
- Reconcile voucher sales data, including Power BI reporting and large data set analysis
- Partner closely with Partnerships and Accounts Payable to ensure accurate and timely reporting
- Monitor stock levels, manage voucher uploads and maintain supplier float balances
- Reconcile Partnerships commissions and tenancy on a monthly basis
- Support voucher management across the UK and Australia
- Complete selected balance sheet reconciliations using technology and AI tools where possible
- Assist with month‑end close, including posting journals alongside the Senior Management Accountant
- Plan ahead for seasonal and peak sales periods
- Support UK Group statutory reporting and the annual audit, preparing data for external auditors
- Deliver ad hoc analysis and insight for senior finance leaders, including our CFO
What success looks like:
- Month‑end reporting delivered accurately and within deadlines
- Floats and stock levels managed effectively throughout the year
- Balance sheet reconciliations fully completed and increasingly automated through smart use of technology
To be successful, you’ll have:
- Part‑qualified status, working towards CIMA, ACCA or ACA
- Strong Excel skills and confidence working with complex data
- Excellent analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail
- The ability to communicate clearly with both finance and non‑finance stakeholders
- A genuine interest in AI and process improvement
- A proactive, can‑do attitude with the resilience to thrive in a changing environment
