About the role

This is an outstanding opportunity for a legally qualified, experienced professional with a background in commercial contracts to join our friendly, hardworking Governance Risk and Compliance and Legal team and make a significant, long-lasting contribution to a high-profile business, at a key point in its development by being a Legal Partner to the Commercial business across the UK and AU.

What You’ll Be Doing

1. You will be acting as a legal partner to the commercial business providing legal input into strategy, risk assessment and commercialisation to support the Perkbox Vivup Growth Strategy.
2. Supporting the Growth teams by driving complex negotiation & contracting across the supply chain and customers. Leading negotiations (private and public sector) reviewing and drafting extensive legal agreements to facilitate the delivery of employee benefits.
3. Draft customer-facing legal documents and provide strategic legal advice across UK and AU business units.
4. Work with the DPO on data, digitization, privacy, and manage legal risks to support commercial success.
5. Improve legal processes for efficiency and stay informed about relevant legislation and regulatory changes.
6. Handle additional legal matters, including lease reviews and ad-hoc requests.

What We’re Looking For

1. Qualified Lawyer and with a minimum of 3 years PQE.
2. Current Practicing Certificate for England and Wales.
3. Demonstrated ability to recognise and resolve legal issues and manage risk.
4. Must have ability to plan, multi-task, organise and control heavy work volume.
5. Must have experience of UK Data Protection.
6. In-house experience preferred.
7. Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
8. ‘Self-starter’.
9. Ability to work within a wider risk team.

The Interview Process

Our interview process involves 3 main stages:

1. Short call with a member of the Talent team.
2. 30-minute video call with Hiring Manager and one other team member.
3. Final Interview and task with two members of the team.
