What you’ll be doing (in a nutshell):
As Engineering Manager, you’ll lead a talented squad of software engineers, helping them grow, collaborate, and deliver best-in-class web and mobile applications. Your role will blend technical leadership with people management, giving you the chance to influence everything from architecture and delivery practices to career development and team culture.
Day-to-day you can expect to:
- Lead, mentor, and support a high-performing team of engineers
- Own and deliver high-quality, scalable web and mobile features
- Partner closely with Product, Design, and Data to bring ideas to life
- Contribute to event-driven architecture and concurrent application design
- Guide technical direction and promote engineering best practices
- Champion code quality, testing coverage, and system performance
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues to ensure high availability
- Collaborate with DevOps to monitor and optimise deployments
- Stay hands-on where needed, reviewing code and contributing to decisions
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and long-term team development
To be successful, you\’ll have:
- Demonstrated experience leading high-performing engineering teams
- Proven expertise in scaling large, service-oriented architectures
- A strong background in designing and delivering data-intensive applications
- Deep knowledge of RDBMS and NoSQL technologies (e.g. MySQL, Redis, DynamoDB)
- A solid understanding of modern software architecture patterns
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and cross-functional delivery
Bonus points if you bring:
- Experience with Go and event-driven concurrency (goroutines, channels)
- A background in cloud platforms (preferably AWS)
- Exposure to AI-driven engineering practices
- Comfort across front-end or back-end stacks (React, Angular, Golang, RoR)
- A strong grasp of data and application security
- Experience collaborating with Product, QA, Design, and Data teams

The Interview Process
Our interview process involves 4 main stages:
1. Intro call with Talent Acquisition – 15 minutes
2. Hiring Manager screening – 60 minutes
3. Technical design round – 120 minutes
4. Final round – 90 minutes total
