Does this sound like you?

📍 UK Remote

You are a compassionate and experienced CBT Therapist who thrives on making a meaningful difference. Confident working with complex presentations, you combine clinical rigour with genuine empathy, creating safe and supportive spaces where people can do their best therapeutic work. You are comfortable working autonomously, but also value collaboration, supervision and being part of a wider clinical community.

What You’ll Be Doing (in a Nutshell)

As a CBT Therapist within our clinical team, you will deliver high-quality, evidence-based CBT to clients across secondary mental health pathways. Working remotely, virtually or face to face, you will manage your own caseload, assess risk, and tailor therapy to individual needs, always in line with NICE guidance, ethical frameworks and organisational SOPs.

Day To Day You Can Expect To

  • Deliver CBT sessions via telephone, video or face to face, aligned to clinical pathways and contract requirements
  • Assess mental health needs, including risk and safeguarding considerations
  • Provide a confidential, supportive and therapeutic environment for clients
  • Draw on other therapeutic models where appropriate, in line with your training and clinical recommendations
  • Manage and prioritise a caseload autonomously, including organisation of sessions and venues where required
  • Maintain accurate, timely and high-quality clinical records and outcome measures
  • Write psychological reports for commissioning organisations when required
  • Engage in regular clinical and group supervision, team meetings and MDT working
  • Contribute to service development, audits and, where appropriate, training delivery
  • Take responsibility for your own wellbeing, CPD and ongoing professional development
  • Work occasional bank holidays on a rota basis as part of our 24/7 service
  • Travel occasionally to provide on-site individual or group support if required

To Be Successful You’ll Have

  • A recognised professional qualification in CBT
  • A minimum of 2 years’ post-qualification experience delivering CBT clinically
  • At least 5 years’ post-qualification experience within your core modality
  • Experience assessing, formulating and treating complex presentations using evidence-based approaches
  • Strong knowledge of NICE guidelines and CBT treatment pathways
  • Experience working within secondary care or similar services
  • Confidence working with trauma-informed approaches and complex client groups
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report writing
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage your own workload effectively
  • A thorough understanding of safeguarding, risk management, GDPR and ethical practice

Bonus Points If You Bring

  • Experience in EAP clinical delivery or equivalent settings
  • Experience delivering group-based interventions
  • Confidence supporting training content development or delivery
  • Experience working within MDT environments
  • A proactive, reflective approach to supervision and self-care
