We are looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to support the growth and scalability of our business across European hubs. In this role, you will ensure seamless IT support coverage, resolve technical and audio-visual issues, assist with infrastructure projects, and contribute to automation and process optimization initiatives. You’ll play a critical role in enhancing the user experience, driving operational efficiency, and helping our business scale across Europe.
What Will Your Day Look Like?
- Escalation & Mentorship: Serve as an escalation point for the Service Desk team, providing guidance on complex issues and mentoring colleagues to build team capability.
- IT and Audio-Visual Support: Troubleshoot and resolve IT and audio-visual issues across European hubs, minimizing disruption and ensuring smooth operations.
- Infrastructure Projects & Automation: Assist in planning, executing, and monitoring IT infrastructure projects, ensuring timelines, quality, and best practices are met. Develop and maintain scripts and automation workflows across platforms such as Okta, Slack, and Make.com to streamline operations. Integrate and leverage REST APIs to enhance tooling and automate repetitive tasks. Configure, optimize, and maintain monitoring and alerting tools (e.g., Nagios, Zabbix). Apply fundamental knowledge of DevOps tools such as GitHub and Terraform, and maintain a solid understanding of core infrastructure tools, including identity management systems and Jamf environments (Jamf 200+ a plus).
- Operational Excellence: Anticipate potential IT issues and proactively mitigate risks. Analyze operational and performance trends using data-driven insights to inform decisions and support strategic objectives. Continuously identify opportunities to optimize processes, improve efficiency, and enhance the reliability of platforms and tools.
- Collaboration & Initiative: Evaluate new tools and provide recommendations aligned with team and business needs. Develop reusable components and adhere to established standards for automation and tooling. Collaborate effectively across teams, providing feedback and contributing to shared systems and processes.
