As a Lead Solutions Consultant at Perk, you will serve as a subject matter expert within our solution consulting organization, driving excellence in fast-moving sales cycles in a dynamic sales environment. You will lead or support key pursuits, help define best practices, mentor junior team members, and act as a conduit to our product organization. You are a practitioner and expert in spend management, accounting, and financial processes, with strong knowledge of enterprise ERP landscapes and the ability to discuss integrations with customer IT teams. This role requires a proven ability to sell value by connecting product capabilities to real-world finance and operational needs.
What You’ll Do
- Solution Leadership: Create scalable solutions and provide guidance on solution architecture, often involving integrations with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics BC, F&O). Bridge the gap between business requirements and technical implementation; guide clients through the entire solution lifecycle (design, integration, adoption).
- Solution Design: Translate complex business requirements into technical design and architecture for Perk’s spend management solution. Ensure they align with accounting best practices, financial controls, and operational realities while remaining pragmatic.
- Team Mentorship: Lead onboarding, coaching, and development of Solutions Consultants; conduct whiteboarding sessions to elevate technical and sales skills.
- Enterprise Architecture Expertise: Maintain knowledge of complex enterprise IT landscapes, including on-premise vs. cloud ERP, security protocols, and API strategies; act as internal SME for complex ERP integrations (e.g., large SAP or Oracle deployments).
- Internal Collaboration: Collaborate with customer IT and integration teams; serve as internal SME for multi-entity ERP environments and integration patterns.
What You’ll Bring
- Experience: 7–10 years in Sales Engineering or Solution Consulting for complex B2B SaaS; at least 2 years in a lead or mentoring role. Tier-1 SI background with solution architecture is a plus.
- Domain Experience: Strong understanding of enterprise accounting processes, global financial controls, and shared service center operations; finance/accounting background is desirable.
- Strategic Mindset: Proven ability to define methodologies and improve team processes in addition to executing deals.
- Technical Acumen: Knowledge of complex ERP landscapes (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, Oracle NetSuite, Microsoft) and integration architectures (APIs, middleware, SFTP). Able to lead architectural discussions with enterprise IT leaders.
- Leadership Presence: Comfort presenting to C-level executives in Global 2000 companies.
- Languages: English fluency required; additional languages are an asset.
