This is a Fire and Security Engineer role with a strong focus on security systems and integrated solutions, alongside fire where required. The work covers small works, upgrades, and project-based activity. Projects run nationwide, but the role is sensibly based around South Yorkshire and the East Midlands. We are looking for engineers based around Chesterfield, Sheffield, Rotherham, or North Derbyshire, with reasonable access to the M1 and M62 for travel when required.
Package and compensation
- Salary up to £38,000 depending on experience
- 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm
- Nationwide project work
- No call-out rota currently

What you’ll be doing
- Delivering small works installations, upgrades, and modifications
- Majority security-focused work, including integrated systems
- Supporting fire systems where required as part of wider projects
- Carrying out upgrade and remedial works following surveys or service visits
- Attending projects nationwide depending on client requirements
- Working across commercial and specialist environments
- Working closely with project managers and other engineers
What you’ll need
- 2+ years’ experience as a Fire and Security Engineer
- Strong background in security systems, including integrated solutions
- Experience with installs, upgrades, maintenance, or small works
- Comfortable working across security and fire systems
- Happy travelling nationwide as part of the role
- Full UK driving licence
- Able to pass an enhanced DBS check

The business operates across commercial, industrial, and specialist environments, with a strong focus on modern systems, safe working practices, and developing engineers through training and hands-on project work.
