Are you an experienced Air Conditioning or Refrigeration Installation Engineer looking to work on larger, more technically demanding projects?

We're recruiting for a specialist mission-critical cooling contractor with over 20 years of experience delivering cooling solutions into data centres and other critical environments.

With projects secured well into the future and a strong reputation for quality and safety, they're looking to add another Installation Engineer to their growing team.

This is an opportunity to work on major cooling installations including CRAC units, VRV/VRF systems and large-scale chiller projects while developing your career within a highly respected business.

The Role As an Air Conditioning Installation Engineer, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality HVAC and refrigeration installations across commercial and mission-critical environments.

Typical duties will include

  • Installation of VRV and VRF systems
  • Installation of CRAC units and associated equipment
  • Refrigeration pipework installation and brazing
  • System commissioning to manufacturer standards
  • Working from technical drawings and specifications
  • Installation of containment, supports and bracketry
  • Maintaining high standards of workmanship and health & safety
  • Working within CDM, RAMS and Permit to Work environments
  • Supporting major commercial and critical cooling projects Projects regularly include data centres, large commercial developments and critical infrastructure facilities.

Requirements To be considered, you'll need

  • Proven experience in Air Conditioning or Refrigeration Installation
  • Strong VRV/VRF installation experience
  • Refrigeration pipework and brazing skills
  • F-Gas Category 1 Certification
  • Relevant City & Guilds or NVQ qualification
  • Experience working on larger commercial or industrial projects
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own workload Experience with CRAC units, data centres or mission-critical environments would be advantageous but is not essential.
