A recognised GENT integrator is seeking a Senior Fire Service Engineer to step into a Team Leader role in Birmingham.\\nThis role blends hands-on engineering with leadership responsibility and comes with structured training built around continuous development. Technical excellence, safety competence, and leadership skills are part of the ongoing learning environment.\\nWhat the role involves\\n * Planned service, maintenance, callouts and remedial work\\n * Fire alarms, emergency lighting, AOVs and associated systems\\n * Acting as a technical escalation point on site\\n * Supporting and mentoring engineers\\n * You’ll play a central role in helping others grow, supported by the same structured training and development you’ll benefit from.\\n * Ongoing technical and leadership development\\n * Support to help drive quality and consistency across the team\\nWhat we’re looking for\\n * Proven experience servicing and maintaining GENT and other main fire alarm systems\\n * Strong technical knowledge across fire alarms and associated life safety systems\\n * A senior engineer ready to step into a leadership role or an existing team lead seeking progression\\n * Confident acting as a point of escalation and providing technical guidance to others\\n * A safety-first mindset with a strong focus on quality and compliance\\n * Good communication skills and a collaborative approach to mentoring engineers\\n * Full UK driving licence\\nBenefits\\n * Basic salary up to £42,000\\n * Company van with private use and fuel card\\n * £245 per week standby payment\\n * Door-to-door travel paid while on call\\n * Holiday entitlement starts at 22 days plus bank holidays and increases with service.\\nThere’s clear opportunity to grow further within the business.
