About the role
We're partnering with a growing international business to recruit an experienced Group Tax Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity for a senior tax professional looking for a flexible, part-time role with broad exposure across UK and international tax matters.
Working closely with senior finance leadership, you'll take ownership of the group's tax function, providing both strategic guidance and hands-on oversight across compliance, reporting and governance.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the group's global tax compliance and reporting activities across multiple jurisdictions.
- Act as the trusted tax adviser to senior leadership on commercial transactions, restructuring and wider business initiatives.
- Oversee corporate tax, VAT, employment taxes, transfer pricing and international tax obligations.
- Manage relationships with external advisers, auditors and tax authorities.
- Ensure robust tax governance, controls and risk management frameworks are maintained.
- Support finance transformation projects, process improvements and tax automation initiatives.
- Keep the business informed of changes in UK and international tax legislation and their potential impact.
Your Experience:
- Significant experience in a senior corporate tax role, ideally within an international group.
- Strong technical knowledge across UK corporate tax, international tax and transfer pricing.
- Experience managing tax reporting, compliance and tax risk.
- Commercial mindset with the ability to communicate complex tax matters to non-tax stakeholders.
- Confident building relationships across finance and wider business functions.
