Hollingworth Learning Trust is expanding its central team and looking for an HR Advisor to support schools across the Trust with responsive and people-focused HR support.
This role would particularly suit:
- School HR Officers looking to broaden their experience
- Local Authority HR Advisors keen to make a bigger impact
- Experienced MAT HR Administrators ready for their next step
You’ll join a collaborative central team supporting a growing Trust where no two days look the same. You will:
- Advise managers and staff on day-to-day HR matters
- Support ER casework including absence management, disciplinaries and grievances
- Lead safer recruitment processes and KCSIE compliance
- Support recruitment, onboarding and policy development
- Build relationships with school-based HR colleagues across the Trust
- Deliver guidance and training to school staff
- Contribute to wider HR improvement projects as the Trust grows, including the development of the trust wide people strategy
This is a hands-on HR role with real variety and visibility across the organisation.
What we’re looking for:
- At least one year of HR experience within education
- CIPD Level 5
- Strong understanding of safer recruitment and school compliance
- Experience supporting managers and handling HR queries
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- A practical, organised and solution-focused approach
