For more than a century, Greater Manchester Youth Federation has supported young people across the region to build confidence, raise aspirations and access new opportunities. Now, under the leadership of CEO Glyn Potts, the organisation is entering an exciting new phase of growth.
New centres. Expanded outreach work. Residential provision. And continued investment in services supporting young people across Greater Manchester. As the organisation grows, so too does the need for strong financial leadership and infrastructure. This newly created Finance Manager role offers the opportunity to help shape and strengthen the finance function within a purpose-led organisation making a genuine impact.
Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day finance operations and reporting
- Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning
- Strengthen financial controls, systems and processes
- Provide clear financial insight to non-finance colleagues
- Support and develop a small finance team
- Help build a finance function that can support continued organisational growth

- Accounting qualifications or equivalent practical experience
- Strong management accounts, budgeting and reporting experience
- Accuracy, sound judgement and attention to detail
