Design scaffold and shoring systems, providing engineering guidance for minor and major scaffold projects across the UK; specifically providing advanced and special solutions working both independently and as a member of a team.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Special Solution Team and the Engineering Manager in maintaining/producing high design standards and special solutions in the engineering performance of PERI UK.
- Lead complex projects and deal with the interface between the technical offices, customers and logistics.
- Visit site to deal with complex site issues or safety critical items; attending customer meetings when necessary.
- Provide innovative solutions and contribute in product development on scaffold and shoring applications.
- Support tender development and delivery.
- Plan, track project progress and keep costs under control.
- Supervise and coordinate assigned engineering section activities and operations within assigned engineering section.
Qualifications
- BSc in Civil/Structural or Mechanical Engineering.
- Health and Safety Knowledge.
- CDM 2015 Knowledge.
- Working with Eurocodes and BS’s and NASC Technical Guidance.
