Creating the future – Your tasks in our team
Responsible for the design and delivery of complex high-rise engineering projects, ensuring the safe, efficient and innovative use of climbing platform and protection systems.
- Work with PERI colleagues in the delivery of complex high-rise projects, managing the preparation of technical documentation for delivery, fabrication and assembly
- Prepare and present proposals to customers
- Support the preparation of offers with technical advice and guidance on both standard and non-standard system applications
- Create preliminary calculations to support projects during the offer phase and prepare cost calculations
- Prepare detailed structural calculations, “Proof of Stability” in accordance with UK codes and legislation
- Work with 3rd party Engineers to evaluate the system design and static proofs
- Design custom components and produce assembly and fabrication drawings for production

- University Degree (Civil or Mechanical Engineering), key areas: construction, steel construction, building operations, or similar education such as master craftsperson (Civil or Mechanical Engineering), or technician with sufficient experience and skills
- 3+ years practical/professional experience in designing climbing systems for high-rise buildings and / or other similar applications
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of and experience with CAD software
- Knowledge of and experience with RSTAB or similar software
