Are you a passionate and inspiring Teacher of Art & Design with a desire to nurture students\’ creativity and artistic expression? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our thriving Art department in a premier independent school in Richmond.
Responsibilities
- Teach Art & Design across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of teaching at GCSE and A Level depending on experience and interest.
- Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that cater to a variety of learning styles and abilities.
- Use a range of teaching methods and resources, including demonstrations, workshops, gallery visits, and art history lectures, to inspire students\’ creativity and artistic expression.
- Assess student progress, set targets, and provide constructive feedback to support individual learning journeys.
- Contribute to the department\’s curriculum development and resource creation, ensuring that our Art & Design curriculum remains relevant and challenging.
- Foster a love of art in students, encouraging them to explore different art forms and develop their own artistic voice.
