Are you a passionate and engaging History Teacher with a desire to inspire young minds and foster a love of learning? We are seeking a talented Teacher of History to join our dedicated and supportive department in a thriving comprehensive school in West London. This full-time, permanent position commences in September 2025, and we warmly welcome applications from both experienced History Teachers and ECTs.

About the Role:

  • Teach History across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of teaching A Level depending on experience and interest.
  • Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that cater to a variety of learning styles and abilities.
  • Assess student progress, set targets, and provide constructive feedback to support individual learning journeys.
  • Contribute to the department's curriculum development and resource creation, ensuring that our History curriculum remains relevant and engaging.
  • Foster a love of history in students, encouraging them to explore the past and develop their critical thinking and analytical skills.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues in the department and across the school to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Holds QTS or equivalent.
  • Possesses excellent subject knowledge in History.
