About the Role:
- Teaching Art and Design across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, with the ability to deliver A-Level content if desired.
- Planning and delivering high-quality lessons in a variety of media, including drawing, painting, printmaking, and digital art.
- Inspiring students to explore their creativity, think critically, and develop confidence in their artistic abilities.
- Providing targeted support and feedback to ensure student progress and achievement.
- Contributing to the wider life of the department, including running art clubs, overseeing exhibitions, and engaging in enrichment activities.
- Collaborating with colleagues to continually refine the curriculum and share best practices.
What We're Looking For:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in Art, Fine Art, or Art & Design.
- Have a proven track record of teaching Art at Key Stage 3, 4, and 5, with experience delivering A-Level content.
- Are passionate about fostering creativity and critical thinking in students, and have a strong subject knowledge.
- Can demonstrate a dynamic and engaging teaching style that caters to a wide range of abilities.
- Are committed to maintaining high standards of behaviour and achievement in a selective academic setting.
