About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Science Teacher with a Biology specialism to join an Outstanding mixed school in Enfield from September. This is a permanent, full-time position. The ideal Science Teacher will deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with a focus on Biology. We are looking for a qualified Science Teacher.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Science Teacher lessons, tailored to the curriculum, focusing on Biology.
- Prepare students for GCSE examinations and practical assessments.
- Develop students' scientific understanding and practical skills, especially in Biology.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Contribute to the development of science resources.
- Organise and lead biology-related extracurricular activities.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Science, with a focus on Biology.
- Proven experience in teaching science at secondary level.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Biology.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students.
