Role Overview:
As a Reception Teacher, you will be responsible for providing a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for our Reception children. You will plan, deliver, and assess lessons that support the development of key skills and promote early learning in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. This role offers the chance to inspire and shape the educational journey of young children, creating a strong foundation for their academic and personal growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and creative EYFS lessons and activities that meet the developmental needs of Reception children
- Monitor, assess, and track children's progress, providing feedback to parents and colleagues
- Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes independence and exploration
- Work closely with colleagues, including teaching assistants, to support children's learning and well-being
- Foster positive relationships with parents and carers, maintaining strong home-school links
- Support children's social and emotional development, ensuring their happiness and well-being at school
- Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities and school events
We are looking for:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (EYTS will be considered)
