Overview
As a PE Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching PE at KS3, KS4, and KS5. The successful candidate will need to deliver engaging and interactive lessons that inspire students to achieve their personal best in physical education. There is also the potential for extra-curricular responsibilities and leadership opportunities within the department for the right candidate. This role is in Leicester, starting this September, for a full-time permanent position teaching PE across KS3 to KS5.
Responsibilities
- Teach Physical Education at KS3, KS4, and KS5
- Develop and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback
- Encourage students to actively participate in physical activities
- Foster an inclusive, positive learning environment
- Take part in school sports events and after-school activities
Requirements
- Degree in Physical Education or related subject
- QTS or PGCE in Secondary Education
- Experience teaching PE at secondary level (KS3, KS4, KS5)
- Enthusiasm for sports and physical activities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Salary
The salary for this PE Teacher position will be competitive, in line with the MPS/UPS scale.
