A caring and inclusive Mixed Comprehensive School in Ealing is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Health and Social Care Teacher to join our team on a part-time, fixed-term basis.   • Deliver engaging and challenging Health and Social Care lessons to Key Stage 4 and 5 students, focusing on GCSE and A-Level curriculum requirements.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that incorporate a variety of health and social care theories, practices, and ethical considerations, encouraging students to develop their knowledge, understanding, and skills.
  • Facilitate student-led research projects, case studies, and practical activities, encouraging inquiry, analysis, and communication skills.
  • Assess student progress through written assignments, projects, practical assessments, and examinations, providing detailed and constructive feedback.
  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of the Health and Social Care curriculum, ensuring it aligns with current care standards and best practices in health and social care education.
  • Organize and lead extracurricular activities, such as care-related clubs, volunteering opportunities, and participation in health and social care events, to enhance student learning and provide opportunities for students to explore their interests.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong background in Health and Social Care, Nursing, or a related field.
  • Experience teaching Health and Social Care to GCSE and A-Level, with a focus on both theoretical and practical aspects of the subject.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and practical skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
