Starting in September 2025, we welcome a newly qualified Chemistry Teacher to our dedicated Science Department in Sutton Coldfield.
Responsibilities
- Teach Chemistry across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential to teach Key Stage 5 as you develop.
- Deliver engaging and interactive lessons that spark curiosity and develop students\\\’ scientific thinking.
- Work with a mentor and receive regular feedback to support your professional growth.
- Support curriculum planning, contribute fresh ideas, and take part in collaborative department meetings.
- Encourage enrichment, helping with science clubs, competitions, and other events to promote a love of Chemistry beyond the classroom.
Qualifications
- Qualified with a degree in Chemistry (or a closely related subject) and holds or is working towards QTS.
- Passionate about chemistry and enthusiastic about sharing that passion with students.
- Reflective and open to feedback, with a willingness to learn and grow as a professional.
- A team player who enjoys working collaboratively and contributing to a positive staff culture.
