Role: Design and Technology Teacher (Full-Time, Permanent)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and challenging Design and Technology lessons across Key Stages 3-4, covering various specialisms with an emphasis on innovation.
- Inspire students to develop a deep understanding of design processes, materials, and manufacturing techniques, encouraging innovative solutions within Design and Technology.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and enhance the Design and Technology curriculum, integrating new technologies and approaches.
- Contribute to the assessment and monitoring of student progress in Design and Technology, focusing on the development of innovative design solutions.
- Ensure the safe and effective use of workshop equipment and resources, encouraging experimentation and innovative use within Design and Technology.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Degree in Design and Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience teaching Design and Technology at secondary level (ECTs welcome to apply), with a demonstrated interest in innovative design practices.
- Strong knowledge of design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes relevant to Design and Technology, with an awareness of emerging technologies.
