Your Role as a Teaching Assistant in KS1 :

🔹 Support students with a range of learning needs, helping them with reading, writing , and maths in small groups or one-to-one.

🔹 Assist the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management.

🔹 Provide targeted support to students who may need extra help with their learning, particularly in KS1 .

🔹 Help to create a positive, engaging classroom atmosphere that encourages active participation.

🔹 Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to teachers on their development.

🔹 Foster students’ confidence and independence in their learning journey.

Who We’re Looking For :

✅ Experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role, preferably in KS1 .

✅ A patient, caring, and enthusiastic approach to supporting children’s learning.

✅ Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.

✅ A commitment to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.

✅ An Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
