We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Computer Science teacher to join an Outstanding school in Leicester. The successful candidate will be teaching Computer Science to KS3/4, with the opportunity to also teach at KS5 (A-Level). The Computer Science department is highly regarded, with an excellent track record of success, and boasts a strong, supportive environment for both staff and students. The school is keen to receive applications from both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs).

Experience and Qualifications

• Experience in teaching Computer Science to KS3/4, with potential to teach KS5 (A-Level).
• A degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• A teaching qualification with QTS.
• Legal ability to work within the UK.

• Planning and delivering engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
• Assessing and recording student achievement, ensuring continuous progress.
• Managing classroom resources effectively to create a safe and stimulating learning environment.
• Promoting positive discipline and supporting student well-being.
• Building and maintaining positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.

Salary
The salary will be paid in line with the teacher pay scale (MPS/UPS).
