Computer Science Teacher – Outstanding School

We are seeking a passionate Computer Science Teacher to join an Outstanding school in Leicester
starting in April 2025. This is an exciting opportunity for both experienced and ECT Computer Science teachers to join a thriving department and teach Computer Science to KS3/KS5 students, with the chance to inspire and challenge learners of all abilities.

Responsibilities:

• Teach Computer Science at KS3 and KS4, with the possibility of KS5 (A-Level).
• Deliver dynamic and engaging lessons that cater to a range of student abilities.
• Monitor and assess student progress, offering constructive feedback to support development.
• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of the Computer Science curriculum.
• Foster a love for technology and problem-solving in students, promoting independent learning.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• QTS or PGCE (or equivalent teaching qualification).
• Experience teaching Computer Science at KS3
  and KS4 is essential; experience at KS5 is desirable but not required.
• ECTs are encouraged to apply.

Salary:

The salary for this Computer Science Teacher position will be paid to scale MPS/UPS.
