About the Role
- Deliver engaging and challenging Chemistry lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and potentially 5 (A-Level), covering core chemistry concepts and principles.
- Develop and implement effective lesson plans that incorporate practical investigations, demonstrations, and interactive learning activities to foster a deep understanding of chemistry.
- Assess student progress through regular formative and summative assessments, providing timely and constructive feedback to support their learning and development in chemistry.
- Contribute to the smooth running of the Science department, including participating in departmental meetings and potentially assisting with extracurricular science activities.
- Maintain a safe and stimulating learning environment within the chemistry laboratories.
