We’re now searching for a marketing partner who wants to be right at the centre of that journey — shaping our story, amplifying our research, bringing our brand to life, and helping take our work to the industry.
The role
This is a position for someone who loves building, creating, and leading while being willing to get stuck in, and make things happen.
You will sit at the intersection of brand, research, community, client engagement, and founder vision. You’ll help us take our global research division, the Future Retail Labs, to market. This means helping us to shape our voice and play a starring role in growing our business.
Lead and Launch Future Retail Labs
- Turn our research programme into a recognised, respected industry platform
- Develop the messaging, storytelling and campaigns that bring our insights to life
- Shape reports, articles, presentations and thought leadership moments
- Partner with research leads and founders to ensure our work reaches the right audiences
Be the brand strategic heartbeat

- Co‑create our brand identity, voice and ethos with our Creative Director
- Translate our philosophy into modern, distinctive brand touchpoints
- Build consistency and quality across everything we put into the world
- Deliver the kind of credibility and aesthetic that makes iconic brands take notice
Build community and industry influence
- Design and deliver high‑impact events: HRD/CPO dinners, roundtables, labs, launches
- Collaborate with client partners and research partners to shape unforgettable experiences
- Grow an engaged community around high‑performance culture and the future of retail
Own content and story‑telling
- Lead our LinkedIn presence with bold, clear, compelling weekly content
- Write blogs, insights, updates, launch narratives and spotlight pieces
- Turn founder ideas into stories people actually want to read
- Capture the “Performology voice” and evolve it as we grow
Be a fractional head of marketing
- Set strategy while jumping in to execute
- Prioritise, experiment, measure, refine
- Be the person who keeps our brand, community and research moving forward
- Work directly with founders to turn vision into reality

What you bring
- 5+ years marketing experience (brand, content, research‑led or B2B ideal)
- A track record of turning insight into compelling narratives
- Experience working with senior stakeholders (CPOs, CEOs, senior clients)
- Confidence leading events and community moments
- A blend of creative thinking and disciplined execution
- A passion for retail, behavioural science, transformation or leadership is a bonus
