OverviewThe client is Mars, a recent client win for Starcom, the account is focused on the Veterinary Health division of the brand. It is set to be incredibly dynamic to deliver on performance objectives of appointment bookings, lead generation and traffic to its consumer and B2B audience. Activity runs across Search and Social channels across the EU region. The role of the Search Manager requires a highly motivated & technical person to lead day-to-day strategic management across the portfolio\’s business, overseeing Search strategy development and execution whilst simultaneously delivering immaculate client service. This individual will work on managing the activation across Search platforms, mainly Google Ads. You will be reporting into an Account Director and manage an Account Executive in India.

Responsibilities

Deliver consistent performance and results for EU campaigns

Demonstrate a strong understanding of the client\’s services and operations, competition, industry and marketing objectives; and be able to translate them into search strategies

Oversee budgeting process, creation of projections and allocation with internal account teams

Oversee and manage Search strategies and campaigns, including supporting account executives with performance analysis, optimisation strategies and implementation, testing solutions

Serve as day-to-day contact for mid-level clients

Demonstrate strong communication skills – be the connective tissue between teams

Contribute to client presentations and meetings, including presentation of data and results

Establish practices to ensure both consistency in teamwork, along with flexibility to flourish under new ideas

Identify gaps/inefficiencies in a timely manner and create improved processes

Grow best practice training to inspire knowledge sharing within immediate team and outside

Take ownership of product strategy and testing

QualificationsWhat are we looking for?

Strong experience in Paid Search

Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills

Creative and inquisitive mind

Team training and leadership skills

Ability to effectively communicate with clients, particularly explaining technical concepts to those in non-technical roles

Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks simultaneously, across multiple internal and external stakeholders

Keen attention to detail and an analytical approach to achieving objectives

Performics values and ethics – open to new ideas and change, curious, and collaborative; actively builds his/her knowledge, skills and digital expertise in order to promote and deliver effective campaigns; desire to contribute, above and beyond role, to the agency as a whole.
