Our client is one of the most prestigious brands in the world, aiming to sustain their dominant market position and unique brand synonymity for the long term. This presents a unique challenge for media strategy, central to this role.

A highly experienced client leader and paid search specialist is required to own and oversee the complex paid search channel for one of Performics’ largest and most prestigious accounts. The role is London‑based, with most key clients in Geneva, necessitating regular travel. This includes managing a central paid search team of ~12 FTEs and coordinating with similar‑sized teams across international markets (US, China, Japan, South Korea) covering 80+ global markets.

The candidate will develop senior client and internal relationships, including with Social, YouTube, technology and leadership teams. They will also demonstrate competence with big data infrastructure and management, engaging with Google Cloud tools such as BigQuery, Looker Studio, and bespoke retailer programme software for over 750 accounts.

Responsibilities
  • Lead, manage, and motivate the central paid search team and coordinate all global teams
  • Ensure client deliverables are delivered on time and to the exacting standards required
  • Develop a deep understanding of the client brand and how performance media can meet their goals
  • Manage ongoing account management efficiently, accommodating ad‑hoc analysis within tight timescales
  • Understand the technical infrastructure and collaborate with the technology team to guide its enhancement
  • Build strong relationships with all key clients
  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities for continued client engagement growth
Qualifications
  • Extensive digital experience
  • Strong experience with brand‑led marketing in paid search
  • Proven track record of successfully managing client relationships
  • Exceptionally strong presentation skills
  • Strong leadership skills and demonstrated success managing a large, globally distributed team
  • Strong technical understanding, preferably with experience working with BigQuery, Data Studio, and the Google Ads/API
