Conditions: Office (3 days a week – Tues, Wed, Thurs) and home – with occasional travel possible.
What we’re looking for:
You will take ownership of the day‑to‑day social media presence for a major UK motorcycle brand, as well as supporting other major automotive clients as the role grows. Your role will cover the full social lifecycle from idea to execution to community engagement.
- Managing the day‑to‑day social media channels for a major UK motorcycle brand and additional client accounts
- Developing social‑first content ideas and pitching them internally and to clients
- Creating, editing and publishing content across platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube and X
- Writing captions, scripts and post copy aligned to brand tone of voice
- Scheduling and publishing content through social media management tools
- Monitoring performance and optimising content based on engagement and platform insights
- Managing community conversations including comments, messages and mentions
- Identifying opportunities for reactive, trend‑led and culturally relevant content
- Working closely with internal creative, PR and account teams to deliver integrated campaigns
- Supporting wider campaign launches with social‑led thinking and execution
What skills you will need:
- Highly organised and detail‑oriented, with exceptional attention to detail
- Strong communicator, with excellent verbal and written skills to engage with clients, media, and internal teams
- Takes initiative - proactive, self‑motivated, and resilient
- Creative and trend‑savvy - passionate about social media, content trends, and digital innovation
- 1-2 years within a similar role (agency experience preferred)
- Experience with PR and media relations is a plus
- Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Emplifi, Hootsuite etc.) is required
- Facilitation of photo/video shoots – liaising with photographers, drawing up storyboards and photo briefs, managing shoots on the ground
- Research and development skills, e.g. liaising with suppliers, managing timelines, arranging calls, agendas and meeting actions
- Creation of and tracking small to medium scale budgets, including sourcing supplier costs, creating quotes, tracking invoices
- Experience working with influencers on earned basis – liaising with influencers and influencer agents, organising influencer‑based activity, negotiating deliverables, reporting on influencer statistics
- Understanding of key social channels preferable (Instagram, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, YouTube etc)
- Involvement in integrated campaigns involving wider marketing, social media and web teams preferable – understanding of how different channels work and requirements for each
