Role Overview
We’re seeking an Engineering Leader to drive program execution, team performance, and customer engagement within our UK operations. This role sits at the intersection of leadership, delivery, and business growth—responsible for building high-performing teams, managing technical programs, and identifying new opportunities with key customers.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership
- Recruit, mentor, and manage engineering talent
- Foster strong team culture and engagement
- Align work with individual strengths and optimize utilization
- Program Execution
- Own delivery of engineering programs (schedule, cost, quality)
- Develop and manage plans, metrics, and customer reporting
- Lead regular customer and internal program reviews
- Identify and mitigate risks, scope changes, and technical issues
- Customer & Business Growth
- Build strong customer relationships and gather insights
- Identify new opportunities and support proposal development
- Partner with account leadership on strategy and execution
Qualifications
- Experience leading engineering teams in aerospace, defense, or safety-critical environments
- Strong background in program/project management (FP and/or T&M)
- Technical foundation in software, systems, or related discipline
- Customer-facing experience with strong communication skills
- Experience with estimates, proposals, and business development support
- Comfortable balancing leadership, technical, and commercial responsibilities
Pay Range: £60,000 - £100,000 DOE

This includes Avionics and Space Exploration applications such as Synthetic Vision Cockpit Displays, Flight Management System Guidance and Navigation, Platforms, Submarine Control Panels and Datalink Applications. Our customers are both Commercial and Defense-related avionics and rocketry suppliers/manufacturers.
