Diagnostic Technician - Key Responsibilities Carry out complex diagnostic investigations and repairs across a range of vehicles. Diagnose electrical, electronic and mechanical faults using manufacturer diagnostic equipment. Complete vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs to a high standard. Identify faults efficiently and provide accurate technical solutions. Carry out vehicle health checks and ensure all work is completed in line with manufacturer standards. Maintain accurate records of all diagnostic work and repairs undertaken. Work closely with the Service Department to ensure vehicles are repaired efficiently and within agreed timescales. Maintain a clean, safe and professional working environment.Key Requirements Previous experience as a Diagnostic Technician within a franchised dealership or independent automotive environment. Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills. Qualified to NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds / IMI Level 3 or equivalent. Experience with manufacturer diagnostic equipment and technical information systems. A strong understanding of modern vehicle electrical and electronic systems. Full UK driving licence. A professional approach with excellent attention to detail.
