About Performance Radar
We are an independent technology delivery assurance firm. We have no implementation skin in the game — no delivery revenue, no upsell motive, no relationship with the SI. Our job is to tell technology buyers the truth about how their programmes are performing, and give them the leverage to act on it.
Our clients are CIOs, CFOs, PE operating partners, and Boards running major technology transformation programmes — ERP, SAP S/4HANA, Oracle, CRM, ETRM. They engage us because their delivery partners have a commercial interest in positive reporting. We don't.
The Role
You have run large, complex technology programmes. You know what good looks like — and you know exactly how delivery partners obscure what bad looks like. Now you want to use that experience independently, telling clients the truth rather than managing upwards.
This is a hands-on senior role. You will lead assurance engagements end to end, working directly with VP and C-suite. There is no team of analysts beneath you. You read the artefacts, conduct the interviews, form the view, and write the findings yourself.
What You Will Do
- Lead delivery assurance engagements across ERP, CRM, and enterprise transformation programmes — from scoping through to findings and remediation support
- Conduct structured diagnostic interviews with programme sponsors, workstream leads, PMOs, and delivery partners
- Review and critically assess programme artefacts: plans, RAID logs, governance structures, test strategies, go-live readiness packs
- Identify and articulate delivery risk in plain language — for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Produce written findings and recommendations that clients can act on immediately
- Present to CIO, CFO, and Board audiences with authority and clarity
What We Are Looking For
- ~10+ years in technology programme delivery, including direct experience as a Programme Manager or Programme Director on major enterprise transformation programmes
- ~Subsequent or parallel experience in independent assurance, advisory, or programme review — ideally from a Big 4 or reputable specialist firm (EY, KPMG, Bain, or similar)
- ~Deep understanding of how delivery partners operate, where the reporting incentives sit, and what typically gets obscured
- ~Able to form a clear, defensible view quickly and hold it under pressure from senior stakeholders
- ~Excellent written output: our reports are our product; they need to be sharp, credible, and immediately usable
- ~Must have the right to work in the UK without sponsorship
We Are Not Looking For
- ~Career auditors, governance consultants, or PMO administrators. This role requires people who have personally delivered complex programmes and understand from the inside where things go wrong.
Advantageous
- Former Programme Director or Senior PM at a FTSE-listed or PE-backed organisation, with subsequent Big 4 or specialist advisory experience
- Experience working within or alongside private equity portfolio operations
- Sector depth in financial services, energy/commodities, or manufacturing
What We Offer
- Direct client exposure at C-suite and Board level from day one
- Competitive base plus performance-linked component
- Remote-first with client-site travel as required
- Work alongside a senior team with Big 4 and blue-chip programme backgrounds
