Role Overview
This is a full-time role within the sales department, to develop and grow retail elements of the business. This will mostly involve utilising E-commerce sales platforms. Key objectives will involve driving online revenue by managing and optimizing product listings across several e-commerce platforms, engaging with end users via social media and maximizing sales visibility for all brands. Essential tasks will include inventory management, customer service and analyzing performance metrics to improve listings and conversions, working both independently and collaboratively as a key member of the wider sales team.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain optimized product listings with compelling descriptions, high-quality photography and text keywords to increase visibility and conversions.
- Act as the primary contact handling buyer enquiries, resolving disputes and ensuring positive feedback ratings.
- Liaison with marketing team regarding implementation of targeted social media sales campaigns.
- Handling organic incoming customer enquiries utilising telephone and digital communication.
- Employ tracking, analytics, and reporting to measure campaign and sector effectiveness.
Key Requirements
- The ideal candidate will be intelligent and articulate and be able to demonstrate very high standards of communication and PC literacy.
- Possess a strong understanding of the motorcycle market, or at least makes and models of modern machinery.
- Proven experience and proficiency in E-Commerce sales platforms, particularly eBay.
- Customer service skills and the ability to build positive relationships with clients.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a team on-site in Daventry.
- Commercial awareness with a strong focus on working on initiative.
