What You’ll Be Doing
We are seeking an experienced Manager, Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) to manage and implement HSE programs for Motors Singapore, in alignment with Group and Divisional Safety & Sustainability standards. The role is responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance, supporting operational safety, managing workplace risks, and promoting a strong safety culture across all sites. This position works closely with operations teams, site leaders, and regulatory authorities to support safe and compliant daily operations.
- Implement and maintain HSE management systems, policies, and procedures
- Ensure compliance with Singapore regulatory requirements (MOM, SCDF, NEA, LTA)
- Perform Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO) duties under MOM requirements
- Investigate incidents, near-misses and occupational illnesses and prepare reports
- Conduct audits, inspections, risk assessments, and statutory submissions
- Manage contractor safety programs, medical surveillance, and industrial hygiene monitoring
- Support fire safety requirements, environmental compliance, and facilities-related activities
- Coordinate safety training, inductions, drills, and safety campaigns
- Track HSE performance and prepare regular reports for management and Group HSE
Who We’re Looking For
- Diploma or Degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Engineering, Environmental Management, or related field
- Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) with MOM, Singapore
- At least 5–8 years of relevant HSE experience, preferably in industrial or multi-site environments
- Minimally 3 years of experience in Supervisory role
- Good knowledge of Singapore WSH legislation and regulatory requirements
- Strong coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills
