Office Administrator to join our team.
This is a varied and customer-focused role that provides essential administrative support across the business, ensuring the efficient processing of customer orders and the smooth coordination of transport arrangements for customers in the UK and overseas.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Handle customer enquiries by telephone and email, providing a professional and efficient service.
- Process customer orders accurately, ensuring all information is complete and acknowledged where required.
- Maintain positive customer relationships through effective communication and support.
- Arrange UK and export transport for customer orders.
- Liaise with freight forwarders, couriers, and transport providers to ensure timely deliveries.
- Prepare and distribute shipping documentation as required.
- Maintain accurate electronic records and filing systems in line with company procedures.
- Scan, save, and manage completed works orders and associated documentation.
- Ensure administrative processes are completed accurately and efficiently.
- Provide general administrative support across the business.
- Assist with filing, data entry, document preparation, and other office tasks.
- Provide holiday cover for colleagues and support the smooth day-to-day running of the office
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in an administrative or office support role.
- Good telephone manner and customer service skills.
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Competent in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Ability to prioritise workload and work effectively under pressure.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Flexible and willing to support colleagues where required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
