We're looking for a talented

Junior Commercial Operations Executive to join the performance-io team.

In this role, you'll work closely with the client-facing business units as well as internal teams supporting the commercial infrastructure that underpins the agency's growth.

, your responsibilities will span forecasting and financial reporting, pricing and commercial frameworks, CRM data integrity, and support for proposal and pitch creation, alongside collaboration with Marketing on outreach and lead generation.

This is an internally-focused role at heart: you'll be the person ensuring the numbers, templates, records and documentation the wider business relies on are accurate, current, and consistently maintained.

What you'll do

  • Forecasting & Reporting
  • Support the preparation of monthly financial forecasts, board packs, and other reporting materials
  • Maintain data accuracy across reporting templates, ensuring timely updates ahead of key deadlines
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail when compiling financial and commercial data from multiple sources
  • Assist in generating basic insights from reporting outputs to support senior stakeholder decision-making
  • Proposals, Budgets & SOWs
  • Support the creation and formatting of proposal decks, budgets, and Statement of Work (SOW) documentation
  • Use approved templates and product one-sliders consistently across all client-facing materials
  • Maintain data accuracy within budget sheets and proposal documents, checking figures before circulation
  • Ensure consistent, organised filing of budgets, SOWs and proposals for easy retrieval and audit purposes
  • Pricing & Commercial Frameworks
  • Support the ongoing maintenance of pricing documentation and commercial frameworks
  • Assist in gathering data and preparing pricing analysis to inform commercial decisions
  • Build and demonstrate a solid understanding of core product offerings and how pricing structures are applied across them
  • CRM & Pipeline Data (Salesforce)
  • Maintain accurate CRM data, following established data-entry and governance processes
  • Support reporting and pipeline tracking activities within Salesforce, flagging inconsistencies where identified
  • Develop and demonstrate understanding of CRM best practice and data hygiene, contributing to a reliable single source of commercial truth
  • Outreach, Lead Generation & Market Insight
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to support outreach campaigns, lead generation activity, and conference preparation
  • Conduct basic horizon scanning research on prospects, industries, and market trends to surface potential opportunities and risks
  • Maintain accurate lead and opportunity records within CRM systems, ensuring information stays current as prospects move through the pipeline
  • Cross-functional Support
  • Support client services teams in developing pitch presentations and project proposals for prospective clients
  • Work alongside Marketing on data gathering, formatting, and proofreading for marketing initiatives, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines and messaging
  • Support tracking of project timelines, dependencies and risks to ensure delivery stays on schedule
  • Proactively anticipate tasks and questions by observing senior team members, escalating issues before they become problems
  • Support the identification and integration of technology, automation, and AI tools to drive efficiencies across commercial workflows, working closely with the CTO, Innovation function, and Operations team

Skills & Qualifications

  • 1–2 years' experience in a business analytics or commercial operations role
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Management, Finance, or a related field
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft applications (e. g. Excel, Power Point) and Google Workspace (e. g. Google Slides, Google Sheets)
  • Experience working with CRM systems, Salesforce preferred
  • Proven numerical and analytical capabilities, with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communicator
  • Critical thinker and problem-solver
  • Team player with the ability to build strong relationships
  • Commercial and pioneering mindset
  • Proactive, with the ability to deal with ambiguity
  • Self-starter
