Company Overview:

Perform & Scale Marketing helps UK trade businesses generate consistent, quote-ready leads using paid ads and smart backend systems. We work with flooring companies, kitchen and bathroom installers, roofers, garage conversion specialists and other trade businesses who want predictable growth without guesswork.

Our model is simple:

  • High-quality Facebook & Instagram ads
  • Strong follow-up systems (including AI-assisted lead handling)
  • Clear reporting and real results

We also design and build high-converting websites for clients as part of their wider lead generation system. In addition, we plan to offer social media content and content support for clients in the near future as the business grows.

This is not something we currently offer due to capacity, but it is a clear expansion area. We work closely with a small number of clients and focus on execution, systems, and performance, not vanity metrics.

The Role:

We're looking for a part-time Administrative & Marketing Assistant to support the day-to-day running of the business. This role is on-site in East Lothian and is ideal for someone who is organised, proactive, and enjoys keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes. This will start as a part-time role, with a clear opportunity to move into full-time as the business continues to grow over the coming months.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Managing inboxes and day-to-day admin tasks
  • Organising calendars, meetings, and schedules
  • Keeping records, documents, and client information tidy and up to date
  • Supporting marketing activity (social posts, campaign tracking, basic reporting)
  • Onboarding new clients to the business
  • Preparing content days with clients
  • Supporting website projects and client deliverables
  • Updating simple systems and workflows
  • Helping keep projects moving and deadlines on track
  • Supporting the founder with general business admin and coordination
  • Supporting the founder with organising his business networking golf events

This is a hands-on role where attention to detail and reliability matter.

What We're Looking For:

  • Strong organisational and admin skills
  • Confident written and verbal communication
  • Comfortable using Google Workspace and basic productivity tools
  • An interest in marketing, business, or digital media
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • High attention to detail and follow-through
