Position Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Technical Support Engineer with expertise in semiconductor workflows and analog design to join our Helix IPLM Technical Support team. In this role, you will provide technical support for Perforce’s Helix IPLM suite, focusing on VersIC for analog design and related products.
Helix IPLM is the industry-leading IP lifecycle management solution, trusted by nine of the top ten semiconductor companies to operate at scale. It ensures complete traceability throughout the IP lifecycle, enabling seamless tracking of IP usage across extensive IP catalogs. Additionally, it integrates data management and IP management directly within native design environments, such as Cadence Virtuoso.
VersIC enhances analog design workflows by providing modern data management and version control, helping teams achieve higher design quality, consistency, and efficiency. By streamlining access to version control and collaboration tools, VersIC empowers analog designers to deliver successful, on-time tapeouts with confidence.

Responsibilities:
- Represent Perforce as the first point of contact for customers’ technical requests.
- Specialize in VersIC by actively engaging with internal teams to deepen your expertise in analog design workflows, IP lifecycle management, and data management solutions for semiconductors.
- Investigate, reproduce, and resolve customer issues efficiently.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot performance and integration issues related to VersIC, Helix IPLM, and Helix Core.
- Escalate complex cases and collaborate with Engineering for effective resolutions.
- Provide customer-driven insights to enhance VersIC and Helix IPLM.
- Document solutions and best practices to expand the knowledge base.
- Work with Sales, Professional Services, and Engineering to support customers.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in customer technical support, troubleshooting complex issues.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Hands-on experience with semiconductor design workflows and IP lifecycle management.
- Expertise in analog/mixed-signal design tools, especially Cadence Virtuoso.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive troubleshooting mindset.
- Collaborative team player who shares ideas and drives process and product improvements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ensuring respectful and effective support.
- Ability to perform under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Linux, with a working knowledge of basic networking and shell scripting.
