Position Summary: Chris Allen, Manager of Professional Services for the Puppet at Perforce, is searching for a Professional Services Engineer to join the team. We are looking for an individual who is a blend of DevOps Engineer, Client-facing Consultant, Puppet trainer, and Pre-Sales Engineer. Requirements: Ability to manage time and projects effectively Solid experience working with Puppet Enterprise or Puppet Open Source (Puppet 4 or more recent) 5+ years of experience in software DevOps, Systems Administration, Automation, or Network Infrastructure Ability to travel up to 10% domestically Strong programming background with Unix able to work as part of a team Logical reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of solutions and approaches Puppet Certification is a plus Preferred but not required: Programming skills (Ruby, Python, Go, etc.), Windows systems administration, large-scale infrastructure experience, knowledge of data center management, systems management, monitoring, networking
